The College of Engineering Safety Committee aspires to become a central entity in actively supporting a broad safety culture in the College through consultation, advice and provision of resources.
• The College of Engineering Safety Committee will be a role model on campus in safety culture development and fostering by 2021.
• The diverse research environment within the College of Engineering will be met by generative education, training and support of safety in a holistic approach, based on external resources as well as dedicated efforts within the College of Engineering.
• The College of Engineering Safety Committee views accommodating the frequently changing population of students and early career researchers as both a challenge and opportunity for continual development of new strategies and initiatives that promote safety in higher education and advanced research.
